Hi! I’m Graham – a multidisciplinary, user-centred designer currently working with the Justice Digital team at the Ministry of Justice

I'm an experienced content designer and trained interaction and service designer. I specialise in designing accessible, user-led services. For nearly 15 years, I have been creating essential user experiences in the public and private sectors.

During this time, I have:

  • designed several services that helped launch the £300 million Social Security Scotland programme

  • delivered digital platforms for Ofgem, enabling energy suppliers and local authorities to reduce energy prices for around 300,000 households in the UK by up to £120 million

  • redesigned the Ministry of Justice criminal injuries application service, helping victims of crime in the UK access over £150 million in compensation

  • designed a new community contribution feature for the Ministry of Justice Design System, enabling organisational collaboration to help enhance the resource

  • successfully demonstrated the need for Content Design as a practice within the hydrography space of the Ministry of Defence with the UK Government

Recent professional certifications

Throughout 2024 and early 2025, I dedicated significant time to learning more about the practice of service design. Service design responsibilities are often factored into my role as a Content Designer. I've been undertaking and fulfilling these tasks for several years now. I considered it pertinent to complement my practical experience with theoretical learning.

The three certifications here contain real-time service design work provided to external clients.
