My background

That’s me hanging off the edge of the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada. There’s no analogy for how this relates to
copywriting or design. It’s just the coolest picture I have.

I specialise in designing user experiences and writing content that helps you prioritise your users and ensure they feel part of the journey with you. My work ensures you’re prioritising and speaking directly to the people who use your products and services. This, in turn, helps them meet their needs and achieve their goals. Which is good for you and good for them.

I’ve been designing user experiences and writing content for a range of different public and private sector organisations for 15 years now. My skill set is wide-ranging and includes:

  • user experience design (UX)

  • interaction design (IxD)

  • user interface design (UI)

  • copywriting

  • website design and management

These skills encompass my ability to:

  • understand users’ and business needs

  • conduct user research and usability sessions

  • design accessible services for both desktop and mobile

  • work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

  • write long-form and short-form content for online and offline platforms

  • establish different tones of voice

  • proofread and copy-edit content

  • manage content via content management systems (CMS)

I design services and write content for various platforms, helping inform users and convert them into customers. The work I create is intended to make your users’ lives easier and ensure they have a seamless experience with your organisation.

My view on designing user experiences and writing content is that we should prioritise users by putting them at the heart of everything we do. It’s a responsibility to ensure they have a good experience, whether this is when they interact with your organisation, your brand and your products.
